Durga written episode update 16 October 2024: Bai looks around the palace and says that everyone understands what my relation with Bauji is but still every body chooses to ignore it.
Savitri never leaves me without an insult, she went for pooja with Bauji, they have secured me but that is just too much to take in. I know that this is not the end and I will not sit quietly while such injustice persists in the present time.
Bauji is busy distributing clothes in the villagers. His son addresses them informing that the elections must be won, and the villagers shall be served. He says Rajesh happens to be my aide so you can address any issues to him.
A man says Rajesh does not bother with them. Rajesh comes there and asks whether there are any complaints against him? All of them seem to be cowed down by him and so hold their breath.
Rajesh instructs Anurag’s father Vikram to watch over Durga, she is becoming too dominant with Anurag.
In the palace, Savitri performs aarti for all her DILs and in return, they seek her blessings. Bai is sitting in a corner. Savitri says had you been married, even you would have made my aarti. Bai says would as in if I was married that statement is useless.
Savitri says what do you mean? Bai replies I preserved your husband’s life so if I was married, there is no way I couldn’t save your husband. When Vikram shot the father of Durga, the villagers attacked this palace and it was me who kept you all safe.
The flashback shows that long ago, when Vikram shoots Durga’s father, the villagers want to set the palace on flames but it is Bai who takes control and raises Durga instead.
Durga tries to explain to Anurag why she is so exhausted and once she finishes Anurag is already ready to go, he gives her a piggy back ride and says that no, we have to collect diyas, okay. He is like lets have a completion.
Indira gets ready for the pooja. Others tease her. Bai gives her blessings and asks them all to go for the pooja.
Rajwar’s married women gather at the bank of the river and start the procedule of pooja. They float their lighted lamps in water. Anurag and Durga reach the same place. They dive into the water to fetch lamps. 15 years later, Anurag and Durga emerge from the water carrying lamps.
They gaze at each other smiling. In the castle, Bai orders Anurag’s mother to cook food for Anurag. Indira appears at this instance and reprimands her concerning the hero’s clothing. She makes some explanation to her. In the college, the announcement of the result has been made.
Anurag seeks the teacher concerned with Durga and inquires from her the performance of Durga. She says Durga was the best performing student in the whole school; she was able to bring honor to all of us. That being Anurag makes herness to terrible.
In the palace, Durga announces to everyone, Today I am going to the college to find out about my results. Bai says you are a villager so it is best to stop dreaming about education. You will get married in no time. Indira says don’t worry then, she will be married just in a few weeks.
Durga says Why should I hurry up for getting married? Bai says You are not as lucky as the people of the palace. You should know your place and your lines. She feels that she will take her revenge from Durga with the help of this portrait.
Durga states there is a chance that the elders might be wrong too. This hurled only angers Bai and so Anurag’s mother drags her out. She asks to ignore getting into an argument with Bai. Durga says Vikram wanted me to study so why Bai is persistently mocking me since then?
Bai ridicules other DILs for failing to assist Anurag’s mother in performing kitchen tasks. She asks O where is Munna? a servant states he has been to the market since Savitri ordered him so.
Bai questions Savitri why did you send him away without asking me first? Savitri replies there was no need to ask you. Bai scolds do not contravene my principles in this place, your sons obey my principles. Savitri says I am a queen over here.
‘Bai says I am the one who is in charge and everybody here owes their unity to me. Munna comes and there Bai scolds him for not following the order. Durgasharma takes pity on Savitri’s illness and resolves to changes her ways someday.
