Kumkum Bhagya written update 16 October 2024: The episode opens with Monisha asking Neha about her whereabouts as everyone is waiting. Neha replies that she is headed for a grand entrance and does not ask Monisha to bother. Yug comes in and inquires about Diya’s well being.
Diya replies negatively and, speaking her worries out loud, says this is not how it is supposed to be, not with today being the Sculpt and the case going on. Yug asks Diya why is she behaving as though this information is a revelation to her.
He reminds her of their pessimism about any positive news on this subject as they knew from the beginning, they will not be able to get any evidence against her brother in law because of Diya being in love with him.
A very agitated Yug tells Diya that there is no need to stress, they still have evidence to search for a period of nine more days. Diya admits that her concern for Purvi remains, since if this marriage goes through, Purvi will have lost everything.
Yug takes Diya into his arms. Deepika witnesses the scene and contemplates that she must inform Vaishali about the situation.
RV has an encounter with Purvi in the kitchen and probes into the matter of why Purvi has been avoiding him. There is, however, no response from Purvi.
RV then goes ahead to ask if it is because she is mad that Harleen scolded her in the morning or is she just in a bad mood, and that’s why she is taking it out on him.
Purvi snaps back, querying if he really thinks that she would go to such extent. She explains how she is angry at him for choosing to marry Neha and although she knows how she made him feel, he was not mad at her.
As her husband, RV states, giving a doting reassurance that it is a promise, trusting her always. To this, Purvi replies that such promises are meaningless as he will not be her husband after marrying Neha and accuses him that he is marrying her without thinking of her.
After this, RV feels overburned and is frustrated and walks from there. Purvi tries after him.
Vaishali goes on to seek to bring down the level of anger of Harleen but there is no change in the behavior of Harleen, who continues to abuse Neha who goes about their house as she pleases. Harleen then walks out angrily.
Deepika goes to Vaishali and makes a complaint against Diya narrating how she saw Yug in a hug with Diya. Deepika reminds Vaishali to be careful of Diya and tempts her to go against Diya. Vaishali moves out disappointed.
Yug is concerned and asks Diya if she’s okay which she replies that she’s okay. In a rush RV is seen to be walking, and when asked if he is fine, he does say anything. Purvi comes in and asks Diya and Yug about RV and whether they saw him.
They say that he walked out on them without talking. Diya and Yug discuss how RV and Purvi are back to arguing once more.
Diya says it is all about love, and Yug jokes how it is more accurate to say ‘love is about nothing’ and asks her to define love. At that moment, Vaishali shouts out Yug’s name and he rushes to her.
Purvi moves ahead of RV so as to talk to him, but RV passes her by. Monisha witnesses the incident and asks Purvi what has happened.
Purvi serves a light and says more or less RV is in a bad mood. Monisha pushes for more information but Purvi icily tells her it is none of her concern.
Monisha in an arrogant manner informs Purvi that RV is hers and that will become apparent to her soon enough. She makes fun of Purvi who does not react and just leaves.
Neha royal attire arrives at RV’s home for the sangeet function which is an important pre-wedding event. Sahil equally comes in attendance but in the garb of the drum player. Neha’s presence is frowned upon by RV and his family members.
Neha twirls around RV and the rest of the bride’s family and says, ‘even if you all do not dance with this bride, she will still take away her groom with her.’ She then asks a random old lady to step into the hall, much to the bewilderment of everyone else.
